AIDAHO Lecture on January 11 [18.12.23]
We are happy to announce our next AIDAHO Lecture this semester covering another relevant topic and featuring a renowned speaker: Dr. Anne Burkhardt will talk about 'Global Challenges of Artificial Intelligence'.
Dr. Anne Burkhardt is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Rhetorical Science Communication Research on Artificial Intelligence (RHET AI Center) in Tübingen. Her talk will focus on ‘Global Challenges of Artificial Intelligence’. In particular, she examines the differences between the Global North and the Global South, and the extent to which AI technologies cause and exacerbate discrimination, inequality, environmental pollution and exploitation.
The lecture will be hosted by the University's Computational Science Hub (CSH).
