Recap: AIDAHO at the Open Day in Hohenheim  [08.07.24]

On June 29, visitors of all ages were invited to the annual Open Day on the Hohenheim campus. Enjoying midsummer temperatures, those interested had the opportunity to get to know the diverse range of degree programs and countless extracurricular activities in and around the castle. Once again, the AIDAHO team was represented with a booth this year.

Getting to know AI

In PC room 2, visitors had the opportunity to learn all about the AIDAHO project and inform themselves about the individual modules. This offer was well received by interested students. Moreover, there was the opportunity to playfully train artificial intelligence for image recognition with the help of sweets, stickers and a camera. The kids in particular developed extremely creative ideas and showed a keen interest in this emerging technology. Needless to say, this was just a small preview of what students can expect in the certificate program.

We would like to thank everyone for the numerous questions, the interesting discussions and the great interest in AIDAHO.

The AIDAHO project

The BMBF-funded AI & Data Science Certificate Hohenheim (AIDAHO) project is a certificate program initiated by the Computational Science Hub (CSH). Students from all three faculties at the University of Hohenheim can learn essential skills in the fields of AI, data science and scientific computing alongside their studies.

Further information about AIDAHO can be found on our website. Updates are regularly published in our newsletter. If you have any questions about the AIDAHO program, please email us at aidaho@uni-hohenheim.de.
